We're Open is a weekly social at Darkroom Espresso, 11 Faringdon Road, SN1 5AR each Thursday from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. The evenings offer a relaxed get-together over free coffee and games, with occasional live music too. Not for nothing is it the most stylish community cafe in the South West!

A group of six from Swindon, including two refugees and two asylum seekers, visited the Houses of Parliament on 28 November 2017 to attend the Sanctuary in Parliament event!
Our weekly 'We're Open' event has received a £2,225 grant from the Police and Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire and Swindon, administered by the Wiltshire Community Foundation.
Swindon CoS has recently launched its hosting scheme 'Room for All', so far matching four destitute refugees with local hosts.
On 7 September 2017, we welcomed 40 delegates from 14 City of Sanctuary groups across the South West of England and Wales to learn, be encouraged and inspire each other to make our cities more welcoming environments for those seeking refuge.
