We’re Open Families is a relaxing, casual, drop-in family play session which runs every other Thursday at Swindon Central Library between 11am and 1pm.

We welcome all families epecially those who are new to Swindon. Each session has preschool games and activities and we have a selection of multi-cultural and dual-language children’s books celebrate the 130+ languages spoken in Swindon. In the sessions, we focusing on language development through singing, word play and using music and the arts to explore words and sounds. There is something for everyone!

During half terms, we run sessions with themes, such a friendship, food, cultural, animals and play.

We’re Open Families is a place to come and meet other families who are new to Swindon and a place to find out information about organisations in Swindon that can offer help and support. You will always be met with welcome here.
