Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.
As a charity supporting sanctuary seekers, and other members of the community who may be vulnerable due to their circumstances, safeguarding is our priority.
We work with Swindon Borough Council and refugee organisations to provide ongoing training in this area to ensure that we are doing our best to support sanctuary seekers.
We review our policy and procedures on an annual basis so that our work is aligned with best practice.
We also contribute to national City of Sanctuary policy-making so as to share that best practice.
Our safeguarding procedures and practice mean that we can provide a warm welcome for sanctuary seekers, and others that we work with, to engage with us and our services.
