We’re Open  – IS BACK!

We started up again on Thursday 10th June 2021 at our new venue

Located at The Bakers Café which is close to the town centre and the railway station – there is a bus stop nearby too: Baker’s Café – 6 Emlyn Square, Swindon, SN1 5BN

Every Thursday Evening

6.30 to 8.30pm

Come along for free hot drinks, friendly chat, board games and music, everyone is welcome (that means you)!

To ensure that we follow the COVID-19 guidelines – please do not attend if you are showing any signs of having coronavirus (COVID-19) The main symptoms are a high temperature, a new, continuous cough and a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

For up to date information on the evenings and live music see our FB page

The focus of We’re Open is to bring our community together through our shared love of good coffee (or tea), conversation, music and maybe a little competitive board game playing…  Everyone Welcome (that means you)!

Since the start of the project in 2017 we have seen how different communities and perspectives have come together in a spirit of friendship. The involvement of local volunteers being on hand to ensure people feel welcome helps to ensure those who may be isolated within our community are less daunted about coming and in turn helps to promote integration and social inclusion.

We’re Open is made possible by a grant from The Co-op Community Fund and the Police Crime and Commissioner grant programme (OPCC), which supports projects across Wiltshire and Swindon that bring communities together to improve trust and understanding.
