Room for All Hosting Scheme contributes towards reducing homelessness in Swindon through temporarily accommodating sanctuary seekers who do not fall into eligibility criteria for social or supported housing, or while they are waiting for social or supported housing.
We support sanctuary seekers and vulnerable migrants who are destitute, about to become destitute or are vulnerably accommodated. We provide all-round support to our guests through a private bedroom in a volunteer Host’s home, a bus pass if needed, a designated support worker and personalised move-on plans.
About Us
Initially piloted by volunteers, Room for All was fully launched in January 2018.
We are members of NACCOM – the No Accommodation Network. NACCOM is a national network preventing destitution amongst asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants and helps to coordinate and join up initiatives, sharing learning and resources and providing mutual support and encouragement for hosting schemes in the UK.

Get Involved
We need more hosts! If you have a spare room, even if only on a very temporary basis, please get in touch! We will come and visit you in your home to discuss hosting further and provide free training so that you can work out if hosting is for you!
Support Work
Interested in becoming a Volunteer Support Worker? Our Volunteer Support Workers work with both guests and hosts to ensure that they have a positive experience. Being the first point of contact for the host or guest, you will catch up regularly with them and support the Hosting Coordinator in carrying out their move-on plan.
To find out more about becoming a Host, Support Worker or about referalls please contact Sarah, our Hosting Coordinator at [email protected]
